Canadian Environmental Policy
Explores the context of Canadian environmental policymaking, including natural resource dependence, federalism, partisan, electoral and interest group dynamics, and political culture. The course will then enhance students’ understanding of policy instrument choice, policy capacity, and policy impact in specific issue areas, such as climate change and energy policy, water management, air quality
and biodiversity.
Prerequisites: Registration status: Year 3 or Year 4.
